Don’t replace your whole plumbing system like the others, use this factory fitting attachment. This velocity reduction nozzle is designed to reduce the speed of the main water flow to a gentle velocity, with very low pressure drop. These work by turning the water 180º and sending the majority of the flow along the bulkhead. Away from the main tank area.
Let your long finned fish and slow movers to enjoy the slower velocity in the tank.
No more noise from the nozzle covered in foam, fountain, or whatever you’re using right now. This does not restrict the gallons per hour of your existing pump, and subsequently reduces noise made from the pump. Great for those like us that have sensory challenges.
YSK: the named sizes of locline and most aquarium fittings refers to the plumbing inside diameter (like, the pipe diameter), NOT the ball or socket size.

Which one do I need for my 13.5-32gal Evo/spec/Flex?
-if you only want to replace the small fan nozzles, get one (or 2) of the small 0.25” version
-if you want to replace the entire Y-joint, get the large 0.5” version
-if you have a small (under 5 gallon) Fluval with the 11mm socket
Pro Tip: Deciding on a color?
Black – is most popular, it doesn’t grow algae, and it hides dirt
White – looks beautiful, but will grow algae inside
Clear – loves to grow green algae eventually, loves diatoms, and will look brownish green over time
