How many and what do i need to order?
Flex 9gal and 16gal = 2 intakes
Evo/Spec V 13.5gal and 16gal = 2 intakes and a middle bypass plug
Flex 32 = 4 intakes (COMING SOON)
Save your small fish and shrimps from going into the intake and getting into the filter.
Version 1 is a Flat Grill and looks sleek, but gets covered by plants and debris easily. (DOES NOT fit the small 2.6-5 gal size Evo and Spec)
Version 2 is a remix of the original OEM Style intake cover, with its same snaps, and does a little better at fending off plants
Plug will be default bypass option unless alternate is requested (restrictor or High flow)
Pro Tip: Deciding on a color?
Black – is most popular, it doesn’t grow algae, and it hides dirt
White – looks beautiful, but will grow algae inside
Clear – loves to grow green algae eventually, loves diatoms, and will look brownish green over time
Both intakes need to be cleaned regularly to prevent overflowing of your tank.
