Well, these take away some of that guess work and adapt your pump outlets to fit standard size loclines, and the ubiquitous “Euro” or “19mm” size ball sockets.
Input the outlet size of your pump, then pick the ball size you want and order away!
ID means Internal Diameter, and is for pressing something IN to this adapter
OD is the Outside Diameter of this fitting, and is meant to fit into something else
These are made in a tapered form that will give you about 0.5mm of diameter range to work with. (See figure)
YSK: the named sizes of locline and most aquarium fittings refers to the plumbing inside diameter (like, the pipe diameter), NOT the ball or socket size.
